How it Works: Certain medications are now available at zero-cost, saving members hundreds of dollars out of pocket per year. Member will receive 90-day supplies of these medications, delivered directly to their homes, when they choose to use the OPEH&W Health Plan’s optional Script Sourcing vendor. However, if a member chooses not to use the optional Script Sourcing vendor for these medications, then they will now pay a co-pay of $500 for each 30-day supply, and these co-pays will not count towards the prescription maximum out-of-pocket limit.
Annual Savings with 30-day Supply Prescriptions: While the annual member cost savings this zero-cost benefit provides, varies depending upon medication class and health plan design, the minimum member annual cost saving per medication on the Tungsten & Diamond plans will be:
